The Lord Fairfax Silver Chapter serves USAWOA members in the National Capitol Region. The chapter adheres to the USAWOA principles of "Professionalism, Representation, and Recognition" for the benefit of active Army, National Guard, Army Reserve, retired and former Army warrant officers and families. The designation "Silver" indicates that the Chapter has been in continuous existence since the USAWOA founding.

Regular Monthly Meetings, third Thursday of the month at the Kingstowne Library (corner of Telegraph Road and Beulah Road) starting at 1700 hours.  Come on out and be a part of the chapter planning and camaraderie. Occasionally meetings are held at other locations.

In addition to monthly meetings, the Chapter participates in Warrant Officer Professional Development (WOPD) Seminars, Retiree Recognition days, community service projects, the Adopt A Highway" program and hosts specific events at or, in some cases, the entire USAWOA Annual Meeting of the Members.

Virginia Adopt-a-Highway Program - Chapter and family members clean the Fairfax County Parkway, Route 7100, from U.S. Route 1 to the Interstate Route 95 overpass on the third Saturday of one month each quarter from 7:30 to noon. Participants meet at the Mosby Army Reserve Center on Kingman Road at the parkway. Family members and friends welcome. For more information contact CW5 (Ret) Dick Markle .
